Joe - I am sure the was some consultion's with American's regarding MA793 (after all she was owned by an American) but she has gone now and I guess the warbird scheme is very much the poorer. I don't have a problem with Spits in the U.S - the thing that most people in the U.K would like to see is VP441 back at Yeovilton . She is the last of the line in the same way that if we had the last P-51A for example you guys would like to see her back home.
I don't beleive in 'them and us' - indeed I have a friend in Georgia with a poorly Chipmunk which I am trying to help put back in the air so yes it does work both ways!!!
Anyway Joe how much does one of those MG TC's cost now out there????? With or without good electrics !
