You may be unaware of the full facts of this accident -
the aircraft was stuck with one gear locked up, the other locked down.
The pilot tried for over 2 hours to get the wheel down so he could land it again trying every method possible, before he, after taking advice from the ground, Yeovilton and the RNHF made the hard decision to bail out.
