Hi Cees,
A bit like Paul's "A little something for the weekend" slot but I'm all for it so.........
.....anything to do with Bomber Command, as long as it doesn't end with an X !!!
First choice would be the Wellington followed closely by the Whitley and then the Stirling.
Why not have a flight of Battles and while not Bomber Command but what about the Sunderland.
Of course, a production run of Lancaster's would have to be looked at and if undertaken, then several of the "specials" could be produced like the Dambuster and Tallboy carrying Lancs.
Oh, alright, I suppose that we could include the Halifax as well, but which mark. I would take W1048, rebuild it to static for Hendon and then build a flight, from the templates made.
If we're taking about extinct frames, then I chose the Manchester, but with flame retardant engines, or the Wellesley.
Further, when finished, why not allow the public to take a local flight and pay for the privilege, this would surely attract a lot of attention and help to cover costs of operating. Whoops, forgot the government won't let us, will they!!!
Just my thoughts, what would you like to see built (silly question, I suppose).
Tony
