Flypast Dec 2001- More Questions than Answers??

OK, so now I have had a quick look see....

Why does the article on Airframe Assemblies mention a 'Mk IX two seat and a Mk. XVI both involved in accidents' but gives no Id's as having bits at the Isle of Wight under restoration.. When the two-seat is obviously PV202..... But this now has a disturbing history associated with it... The same two-seat is also mentioned in the article on ARCO in the same issue..

Also, I assume the XVI is the one that had an accident at Duxford not so long ago..

The ARCO article mentioned JG891 - I did not know this was back in the UK from NZ...

Also in the AA article who can ID Australian collecto Alec Wilson's 3 Mk VIIIs (among others).. I had a look see in the WW 3 Directory and I have found there were bits of 4 VIII's with various collectors. However, one was with the RAAF at Point Cook (the one recovered in the 1980's) the others with various collectors.. Have thgey been brought together..

And finally, who wants to speculate on the 'large and challenging restoration project that AA has secured', 'a most singular type'...
