Halifax instrument panel versus AWM

Hi all,
Just checking, During the war a Halifax collided with another one which chopped off the entire nose section. Despite this terrible damage the aircraft managed to limp home and was classed one of the most damaged aircraft of WWII to make it home.
Apparently the aircraft never flew again and the pilot claimed the instrument panel for the Australian War Memorial. My question is:
Was this instrument panel indeed gifted to the AWM and do they still have it (and on display)?
Cheers
Cees
