Hi Alan,

Yes, that's the one (can't imagine that there would be another Halifax with similar damage, but they were tough birds).

I could be wrong about the pilot but perhaps one of the crewmembers would have been an Australian and claimed the panel.

Reason for my post is that I'm trying to list all Halifax instrument panels extant.

So far I have the following:

1. the one installed in W1048, RAFM Hendon
2. the one installed in PN323, IWM London
3. the one installed in NA337, Trenton Canada
4. the one from MZ465, AWM Canberra(if the story is true)???
5. one reproduction panel in HR792/"LV907" at YAM Elvington
6. one reproduction panel which was present at the
Cockpitfest 2001
7. one reproduction panel made by Ian Foster of 57Rescue
8 and 9 Peter Whitfield and I are still working on our own Halifax instrument panels.

If you have more candidates then I am interested.

Cheers

Cees

by the way Ian Fosters panel and my project are listed on the website of the international cockpit club. The photo of Ian's panel isn't working unfortunately and the thumbnails for the photo's of my project won't enlarge.
