Hi Cees....I know I owe you an email off board....it is coming (yeah yeah I hear you say so is Christmas!!!)
Cockpits certainly are big things at the moment. It would be great to see one from the Netherlands or Europe in general make it to the CockpitFest at Newark. When I did Aerojumbles the other side of the table, chaps & chapesses (at least one luvly lady was doing a Lanc) would come up with their pilots notes pictures looking for instruments. As you say, the majority were Spitfires with the odd Lanc and Hurricane thrown in. A few interesting ones include the prize winning Lysander cockpit panel, Halifax panel, Gladiator and a B&P Defiant. All great to see.
A report on the Newark cockpitfest will be in the Sept issue of Flypast (out in early August).
