It is absolutely brilliant that there is so much interest in the Netherlands! It is one of the most friendly countries I have ever been to...I had the good fortune to fly with one of your Service units and spend 3 weeks on one of your navy's ships. I am hoping to 'fly' my Messerschmitt over there later this year if I get time for one of the rallies (well, it has 3 wheels and a bubble on top!)

For me, cockpit/panel restorations are hugely rewarding and fun to do. It is absolutely wonderful reintroducing a pilot to their former wartime mount, or a young child to see what their grandad flew.

A few years back, Neville Duke (world famous Battle of Britain pilot and test pilot) sat in my Hunter cockpit at a show....I don't know who was more delighted...me, him or his wife!

regards

Tony
