The project is called the Brian Nicholls Hampden Restoration project in memory of the person who started it off. Its an ongoing project which does show progress , indeed the is a lot of help each way between the two teams.
Brian started it long before the RAFM had even thought about doing anything - indeed the RAFM at Cosford sent a forward fuselage of a Hampden from Cosford to Canada
such was their interest in the type.
