I may be wrong but I think that TFC involvement in the restoration for the RAFM of a Tempest II was a purely "commercial" transaction - "we'll provide/restore an ex RAF ex orphan Tempest II in return for your ex RN Sea Fury from the Camm Hall with a nice known history"
Makes sense - everybody's happy
