Cees,
I posted on the old WW site that I thought that the project seemed moribund and immediately got my head bitten off - so I think it's politic to say that the project has undoubtedly slowed since Brian Nicholls'death
Given the RAFMs unwavering support of the ridiculous principle of half-and-half restorations, the East Kirky Hampden still offers the only potential for a completely restored airframe but there is an awful long way to go!
Nobody seems to have mentioned either that the RAFM gave a complete Hampden nose to Canada to help with the restoration of theirs - how useful would that have been now?
Elliott - if you're reading this there's a complete wing from a Wellington (tip to tip IIRC) screwed to the wall plus other parts in one of the sheds at East Kirkby and (?)Gerry Sayers has a complete tail section corroding outside his little museum at Moreton-in-the-Marsh.
