Ok "bitten off" was a bit strong - perhaps "firmly corrected" was a more appropriate term.........

I think we're all agreed though that if the RAFM had had some foresight and vision then we would be looking at the complete 100 point restoration of a single airframe rather than limited resources and components being split between a number of projects. The nose donated to Canada would have considerably eased the restorative burden on the airframe purchased fron Jeet Mahal and given that the planned half anfd half restoration is probably as a direct result of cost pressures, may have permitted a fuller restoration of that airframe, particularly if components from the Swedish example were also incorporated. Surely one complete airframe is preferable to two incomplete ones isn't it?
