He III wreck investigation planned

This summer we plan to investigate the site where a Heinkel He III came down in the IJsselmeer. This wreck is one of four which came down in roughly the same area. Three or four during 1940/1941 and at least one in 1945 carrying a
V-I flying bomb.

The sites of these wrecks (and many others) are well known among the fishermen but because the fish tend to be in the vicinity of wrecks these sites are rarely revealed to others. But one of these fishermen has promised to take us out to said wreck during the summer months.

We hope to establish which wreck it exactly is and what happened to the crew.
