Hi Dave,
So far we only know that we are going to have a look at a He III wreck and in which general area it lies. We will have to see when we get there how substantial (or not) the wreck is.
I know that in the early eighties in the same area the wreck of a He III was found where a 1.000 kg Hermann bomb was found and rendered safe. One of the engines was also recovered ( a Jumo 211) which is now in the posession of a local enthusiast who has taken it apart completely, it is in excellent condition. I don't know if it is this wreck but when everyting goes to plan we will know hopefully in a few weeks time.
Photographs and the story will of course appear on this forum.
