Hi Cees - There are still V1 parts and V2 rocket motors in underground tunnels at Nordhausen. Not sure if they ever asssembled aircraft there - who knows, maybe they did.

I have been to a few dumps where stuff is buried but it's usually corroded and only smallish pieces anyway. There are a few websites - one on barnstormers showed an old military airfield in Nebraska I think where the landowner pulled out an early P-38, albeit in bits!

I was told of one cave in the pacific where jap aircraft were entombed. It's very isolated and would need heavy plant to excavate it though.

I think these rumours are worth following up, but I wouldn't travel half way around the world to do it unless I had some really good info.
