Do you have access to the Police records for the area , on the night in question?

It will detail immediate action, Pilot capture, search if he went on E+E etc. Also, what the german authorities action was as regards the A/c. Was the Typhoon still sufficently new at the time to warrant a recovery?

and is this the one that arrived in the frozen lake, by traversing a farmyard, and through a barn first, with the pilot stepping out of the wreckage, barely scratched?

I think Phil Earthy, or Typhoon Dave know more about this one..
