As you have the book on Typhoon crashes in The Netherlands maybe you, or Cees, have an answer to the following queation. According to my information Typhoon 1b RB321 of 197 squadron made a forced landing on an ice-covered lake south-west of Culemborg on december 31th 1944. The pilot allegedly was unhurt. The question is; was this aircraft recovered from the ice or was it left to sink?
