If I remember my history right the machine at Maguire was air delivered from Dave Tallichet's collection...under its own power. Shame if true. Also..during a 1997 visit to Chino I photographed a very authentic looking P-38 replica painted OD Green. From 20 yards it was tough to tell the difference. he also had a full scale P-47 replica on a flatbed...these are truly spectacular.
