I'm impressed that the US Air Force is using at least one fiberglass replica P-38 as a gate guardian. I wasn't aware that they had any. Now if they'd only replace the one at McGuire AFB before it rots away.

I hope they will eventually replace all gate guardians with fiberglass replicas
