Jerry Crandall's book "Yellow 10" has a very detailed history of this aircraft. This book also mentions the hydraulic-boosted ailerons, which were introduced in the D-13 series and in the Ta152. This is an execellent book, by the way, since Jerry has been familiar with this aircraft since the 1960s. He includes many of his own photos of the derelict airframe, covered in weeds, from the 1960s and 1970s.
