Reagrds one of the Whirlwinds you mention. I have been talking to a researcher down in Devon and he knows of one of the Whirlwinds you mentioned. He spoke with a member of 67MU and he remebered the recovery of the pilots hand complete with glove. His name was sewn on the inside which enabled the identification of the plane and pilot. He also said that they returned later to do a proper recovery of it!!!! He hasn't heard of the second one so maybe this one is a possibility.
