Hmmm not the first time this has happened. Tallichet brought back two B-24s from the Yukon Territory in the early 70's but both had to be scrapped because of the damage they incurred during the rail journey. Both nose sections survived, one is in a museum in Richmond VA and I' don't know what happened to the other. With the technology available nowadays both those 24s could be static or flying restorations!!!!!!!!!
