I find it amazing that someone could care enough for an airframe to actually attempt its restoration, only to have the plane SCRAPPED after determining the task is beyond their means. Surely if a type warrants restoration, determining that it's not fit for that restoration (at least today) shouldn't warrant its destruction! What the heck kind of aviation enthusiasts are these?
