Top: Items salvaged from an old quarry in the UK about ten years ago. Typhoon, Tiger Moth and Lancaster parts.
Bottom: A Frazer Nash FN5 Lancaster front turret from said quarry.
You're right Cees, there's lots of buried treasure still to be found.
You just need thorough research, good leads, a bit of investment capital and a large dollop of luck.
p.s. None of which applied to me and that quarry - someone else did the donkey work, I ended up with some of the spoils.
