Speaking of films

Don't recall the name of the picure but a good while back there was a film with Gene Hackman- He was an ex-CIA agent who's wife gets kidnapped and he and his son go chasing across Europe trying to get her back. Anyhow, in one scene they were in a barn or hanger with some very interesting looking airplane parts in the background. Never did see the film twice to get another look at the scene. Can anyone shed any light on this or is it possibly just my tired brain remembering things in a fuzzy haze.(Maybe it's just the smoke from an R-2800 coming to life. :-)
