Paul - I have to say that I think we should all count our blessings that she is at Hendon at all. Previous air display accident's in the U.K have left us with absolutely
nothing remaining of the machine's involved. Black 6 had a finite period in which she could be kept airworthy and she was very nearly at the end of it.
I think it's worth mentioning that John Allison
was determined that rescue cutter's wouldn't be used on her to get him out during his time inverted in the cockpit.
This saved her from more damage - having seen events
since then this was a brave decision to make .
