Even though the POF Spitfire most likely won't be at Reno for the air racing. (But you just never know) There was once a Spitfire that did run at the Cleveland races. TZ138 a lowback Mk XIV was raced at the Tinnerman Air races at Cleveland, Ohio in 1949. Placed third or forth.
