Anything's possible I suppose, and there was the case in California during the 60's of the Mosquito that was "arranged" to crash as an insurance scam, but the engines failed prematurely and the pilot got accidentally killed so the owner was done for murder.
I still prefer the (alledged !)idea of the husband of Hanna Reitsch (?) to get rid of his wife by sending her up in a V1.......didn't work though........should have tried a V2 !
