2) I saw Battle Stations on Channel 4 last night. Good to see nice colour shots of groups of Thunderbolts and Mustangs in formation. Was that Rob Lamplough's mustang used in the filming??

It was indeed Robs Lamplough's Mustang, and it looked very fine indeed. I too was astounded and impressed with the colour coverage of the Thunderbolts and Mustangs but did you see the strafing footage when the thunderbolt came into camera shot from the left over the Luftwaffe base. I swear he was about five feet off the ground........

Overall a good programme, cleverly done I thought. And nice footage of G-BIXL
