Hi Guys

Yes, busy as usual hoovering up all the Whitley bits we can get. I've seen the parts at the MAM - they are very impressive. Some of us were at RAF Stafford a couple of weeks ago measuring up some Whitley bits they hold and I saw the wreckage from the Mickle Fell Stirling - there is a pic on the RAFM website - it is listed under aircraft exhibits - a bit optimistic, seeing as it is a pile of wreckage! The FN4a turret in the pic is actually from a Whitley and got mixed up with the Stirling wreckage.

Our wings will be arriving at Norwich tomorrow so we'll have our hands full unloading them. Ian Foster played a key role in organising their transport from Scotland - free of charge - thanks Ian & the ASDA regional distribution centre in Grangemouth! If anyone is interested, I'll post some pics on webshots soon.

I also found out about ANOTHER dived Whitley in the channel recently... I'm waiting for more info on that one.
