Well done that man!!! I have a NAF 1173-2 that came from a Pax River Corsair. The round ones have oh so much more character and showed imagination!!! Only kidding!

: This is a Naval Aircraft Factory (Philadelphia, PA) Standa
: rd Drawing, so this part was likely used on numerous (if n
: ot most) US Navy specification aircraft. I am not aware of
: any application list for these, you would have to consult
: the parts manual for a particular aircraft.
:
: The -2 indicates that the grip features a bomb release on
: top of the grip in addition to the gun firing trigger. So,
: this grip was used on aircraft with guns AND bombs (or dr
: op tanks).
:
: I can send a .pdf file of the specification drawing to who
: ever wants it. The spec was last updated on 11 September 1
: 945. It was first revised on 31 December 1941, so it was i
: nitially released prior to that time.
:
: I'll let Tony be the baron of those circular (female?) sti
: ck grips, but I am clearly the master of this type!!!! :-
