This is a Naval Aircraft Factory (Philadelphia, PA) Standard Drawing, so this part was likely used on numerous (if not most) US Navy specification aircraft. I am not aware of any application list for these, you would have to consult the parts manual for a particular aircraft.
The -2 indicates that the grip features a bomb release on top of the grip in addition to the gun firing trigger. So, this grip was used on aircraft with guns AND bombs (or drop tanks).
I can send a .pdf file of the specification drawing to whoever wants it. The spec was last updated on 11 September 1945. It was first revised on 31 December 1941, so it was initially released prior to that time.
I'll let Tony be the baron of those circular (female?) stick grips, but I am clearly the master of this type!!!! :-)
