I distinctly remember hearing Dick Phillips say, at a Twin Cities Aero Historian's meeting, a few years ago, that the pond at Debden had been checked and nothing had been found regarding the Gentile Mustang.

I still think the Alan Bunte 51B in the lake south of Potsdam is the best bet for a 4th FG combat vet 51B to reappear.
