Florida, AAF bases, Lakes, and Crashes

Hi All,
My son has been given an assignment at school. He had to choose a State, and show what if any significance this state had during WWII. For obvious reasons, Johnny chose Florida. His teacher excluded him from writing solely about Dean, and Bartow, so this is what he decided to do.
He wants to draw a map of Florida, and put as many Army Airfied Bases, as we can find on it. He also wants to put planes that crashed on it. He wants to draw a bubble from each plane with as much info as he can get, (i.e., type of plane, when it crashed, what happened to the pilot, what happened to the plane, etc..) Also, if possible, the fate of the AAF base.
We have Leesburg, and Bartow, and we know they were turned into airports. We also, naturally, have Lake Louisa, and Dean's plane, but we don't have much else yet.
He has been given two weeks to complete this. Any help will be very greatly appreciated! Thank you for taking the time to read this, and for any help you may be able to offer!
Best Wishes,
Karen
BTW, I have been printing out some of your posts for Johnny to read. I think he is beginning to understand them better than I do, sometimes!
