Although I agree, the only thing what would see anything resembling a complete Stirling before we all are wearing grey beards is to find a complete airframe in some remote lake (who knows what we might find over here, there are two locations which point in the direction of Stirling).
Although the RAFM have some substantial sections (and they really are) they do not put them on display sadly. Perhaps this is because they do not want the museum look like a scrapyard (purely speculation on my part) with wrecks of Hampden, Halifax and Stirling obscuring their precious Lanc?
The Stirling Project have been trying to obtain these sections but without success so far, they are continuing with their great project, but this understandably takes a lot of time and the end result will be largely newly made. But then again, who knows what happens in the near future.
