I agree with you there, as it has, like you mentioned, gone on to fly again, for a while anyhow. Of course as we all know, here in the U.S., the military museums never fly their retired aircraft, but a civilian-owned museum such as Kalamazoo would. So to go with the other theory, would all the planes at any military museum be called warbirds? F117, SR-71, F-18's etc?
