I mostly only looked for "ditched" aircraft in the crash log.. Rather than "crashed into sea", which may mean high impact crash.
L6972 - Ditched of Dunkirk 30/5/40
L7029 - Presumed ditched Moray Firth - 2 killed
L7035 - Ditched Moray Firth 4/5/42 - 1 killed (I THINK this is the one the Scottish Museum at East Fortune is looking to recover)
N1569 - Abandoned over Moray Firth 19/6/42
N1570 - Lost control in cloud and crashed 5 miles WNW of Drem in Firth of Morth 8/12/41 - 2 killed
N1749 - Ditched 75 yards of Nairn 27/1/43
N1804 - Presumed ditched of Northumberland coast 3/9/42 - 2 killed
N3382 - Engine cut, crashed in sea 45 miles north of Lossiemouth 14/3/43 - 2 killed
N3392 - Ditched 25 miles East of leiston Suffolk 27/1/43
N3401 - Crashed in attempted ditching of Barmouth N. Wales 10/1/41 - 2 killed
N3503 - Crashed onto sea at Aberlady Bay, East Lothian 11/4/42 - 2 killed
N3506 - Stalled and spun into Sea of Loch Ryan, Wigtown 5/10/41 - 2 killed
T3914 - Spun into sea off Antrim 18/2/42 - 2 killed
AA423 - Presumed ditched in North Sea 15/11/41 - 2 killed
AA432 Ditched after engine failure 21/4/44 HMS Spurwing near Freetown, Sierra Leone (interesting place especially as there are lots of friendly British troops there now!)
AA500 - Crashed in jungle and burnt out after engine failure HMS Bambara, China Bay (Sri Lanka) 6/2/44 - Or is this where Tony is looking already????
DR937 - Crashe in sea, Wide Firth, Orkneys 5/3/43 - 1 killed
DR939 - Ditched after engine failure near Durban, South Africa 25/1/44
DS152 - Missing between Takoradi amd Lagos 4/10/43 - 2 missing
DS153 - Ditched aftr engine failure off Algiers 10/8/43 - 1 killed
DS156 - Dived into sea off Valetta Malta - 1 killed
Maybe better looking in Sierra Leone (more than one lost here when with 777 Sqn Royal Navy) or India, (a number were lost there when serving with 22 AACU), or Sri Lanka (few more lost there) Middle East... Egypt and Syria mentioned
