How's this for a deal

Would you believe I turned down a complete T-6 (minus engine) with 0 time prop in 1992 for $16K? The plane was sheltered, sitting on its gear with wings removed for storage. The port side fuselage skin was removed rvealing that all of the electrics and hydraulics were intact. It was a well used aircraft, but quite likely still "bolt on the engine & go" material as it sat. I'll never live down the fact that I passed that one up.
