My solemn respects to the pilot. It's no consolation but if I could choose one way to go from this world, that would probably be it. Every soul on this earth should be so lucky as to die doing what he loves. I've known a few in my time who haven't.

This is the second Mig I can remember in recent years putting down because of systems troubles. Both accidents have me wondering - are the civilian Migs allowed to carry live ejection seats? Were the Mig-15 & 17's designed to accommodate ejection seats?
