Just finished reading "The Eagle Soars" by Geoffrey Rex Collis. He was an engineer based on Ceylon and there are loads of promising gen on crashed a/c (Blenheims,hurris and best of all fulmars). Best story is of a pilot who trekked back after force landing his Fulmar in a remote location.
