Ok, I need to reach out and touch some people, and the Sri Lankan AF/museum , are the last on me list.

I need to make sure the a/c involved weren't recovered, and, at that stage of the war, and as there weren't any fatalities, then it seems that they may well have been left there.

Just to make any trip worthwhile, i'll be researching a lot more on Ceylon. I think the Fleet Air Arm archive is a good place to start, especially as the FAA and the RAF lost a fair few aircraft in ditchings in the China Bay/Tricomalee area.

Failing all that, at least its a holiday.....
