The "standing" of the poster in relation to WIX activity is irrelevant. However compelling the subject of her post, that post is very far off topic. WIX provides a place for OT posts.

These points were known to the poster, and to those who wrote in support.

The whole point of board rules and keeping on-topic is to maintain the tenor and content of a board at level of amenity suitable to the aim of the board. Posting outside these conventions puts the content of the board (and the community of posters) at risk of disorder and loss of members.

In the end the poster has taken the right course (though apparently for the wrong reason) and withdrawn from the board.

Personally, my view is that the thread ought to be withdrawn as well.

Wildly off-topic and disturbingly agressive threads continue to appear on the board. Reasonable people should be capable of better.

This most recent development has convinced me that this is not a board for me to monitor or post upon, and I'm removing it from my reference material.
