To Clairafie the ownership of the Kingfisher, this aircraft originally was to go to the Neatherlands East Indies Air Force but was diverted by the Vought and the USN to the RAAF, so the real owners of said aircraft are the Dutch and the USN since the aircraft was never return to the Dutch or strike in accordance with the Lend-Lease agreements.

Thus their are two ways I see this being resolved first the Dutch claiming ownership and then returning them to the USN who intern redirect to the RAAF and then having the RAAF declaring the airframe surplus and sold as Scrap.

This sounds like a hard way of doing it but it has been done in the past with other Lend-Lease aircraft. Mainly C-47/R4Ds.

I'm not trying to upset anyone here all I'm trying to point out is the only legal way out for everone.

Cheers Rob
