Spitfire Ace - Archive footage query

Just been watching Spitfire Ace and wonder if anybody could confirm something for me.

In the original wartime newsreel footage of the Uxbridge Ops Room I am sure there were pictures of a fighter controller who subsequently appeared as a controller in one of the 1950's black and white Battle of Britain films - either Angels One Five or Reach for the Sky

Can anybody confirm this for me?
