From what I can see most of the external shots were filmed at RAF Kenley, but the underground Ops Room shots were taken at RAF Uxbridge in the 11 Group Ops control room - which ties in very nicely with what the narrator in SPITFIRE ACE was talking about at the time! I will try and get confirmation......
