great post...my official title with collings is "ride coordinator", it is one of the most rewarding jobs I think a person can have in flying old airplanes. The people and emotions that these airplanes evoke is very powerful. To see a vet spend a quite moment with his old steed, you can almost envision the mission as he relives it, and you just know that is exactly what they are doing. Or to see relatives experience what thier fathers and grandfathers experienced really brings out the sense of sacrifice that the men and women of WWII endured. Long may they fly!
