As one who lives in San Antonio, I can affirm that it is still there the last time I was... It is truly a sad sight to see all of those aircraft (and others at other locations) sitting like that. It's also a shame that for such a large city, there don't seem to be any major warbirds to speak of. There are a few trainers, L-birds, some museum birds, as well as statics, but the closest flying stuff I know of is the CAF in San Marcos. Our city really messed up when they didn't make the effort to bring the CAF headquarters here with all the vets that live here. I can only imagine what kind of stats visits wise they could have gotten with people coming to visit their grandparents who fought in those planes, and going to the museum with them.
