No, there was no falling out. EAA doesn't (and justifiably can't) pay for the warbirds that attend and do not allow flight experiences beyond their planes (Alum. Overcast) because of the risk and insurance. If we don't have the potential to raise donations there, nor get compensation for flying in, we lose in the end.
The same is true for many warbirds as evidenced by the downturn in warbird attendence in recent years. Its not our decision, it is just the way the economics force us to be.

Hey Ryan, why doesnt the B-17 and B-24 appear at Oshkosh
: anymore? Was there some type of falling out between the
: EAA and the Collings Foundation? It sure was nice seeing
: the 17 and the 24 there together with other 17's that show
: ed up in years past.
