Hopefully it will get picked up by a serious collector or a museum. I'm sure the USAF Museum could use it for their Fisher XP-75 display or restoration. The V-3420 was one of the hyper-engine projects that met with some relative success.
My biggest fear is that it could end up as an Unlimited-class tractor puller motor. It would likely meet an unfortunate end used that way. Some time ago, I saw an ad posted by a tractor puller looking for V-3420 parts and manuals, so I wonder if one has already found its way into that sport. I think another one was used in power boat racing a long time ago and, if I recall, the boat was wrecked.
