Welcome Randy. Thanks for posting.

I read through the posts on this topic and I'm glad to see it has been civil. I'm sure we all mourn the loss of an airframe but we all have to remember something. It's easy to critisize in retrospect, we're not there on the spot. We aren't making life and death descisions at Mach 1 with 57mm enema's heading our way.

As for a Fury being used for WMD's. Anything could be used to deliver chemical and biological weapons as well as small nukes. A cessna loaded with biologics crashed in a resivor or spraying a city is just as bad as a Mig-21 on the same mission, especially if the cessna is left alive for a few minutes longer than the mig because people don't see it as a threat.

My point is, only those that are on the missions can make the descisions, while those of us at home can discuss destruction of the fury, we shouldn't critisize the pilot or the intel guys that were involved, they are doing there jobs.

Thanks Randy for helping defend the freedoms that allow this forum to exsist at all.
